Monthly Market Snapshot

Welcome home to Litchfield Park, AZ! This quaint little village is just 15 miles west of downtown Phoenix and just south of Luke Air Force Base. With approximately 5000 residents, Litchfield Park is a small but beautiful community, home to the Four Star Wigwam Golf Resort with a spa, 3 golf courses, and 54 holes of golf. This charming little village is truly an “oasis in the desert” with its palm tree lined streets, lush orange trees, miles of pathways, beautiful homesites, and charming locally owned cafes and storefronts in the city center.

Litchfield Park’s history dates back to 1916 when Mr. Paul Litchfield, a top executive for Goodyear Tire Company, came to the area and acquired 16,000 acres for the Southwest Cotton Company. The company wanted the land to grow Egyptian long staple cotton to help reinforce their auto and truck tires, which were being used in the war. The land was so beautiful, Mr. Litchfield and his wife ended up building their winter estate, Rancho La Loma, on a hill overlooking the town. The company town was officially named Litchfield Park in 1926 and then was officially incorporated as a city in 1987.

Litchfield Park is also known for its celebration of the arts. The city hosts arts and crafts festivals, concerts, and culinary celebrations throughout the year, and it is most definitely a destination for all the art and music lovers out there. Whether you’re looking for championship golf, award winning restaurants, a day at the spa, or just a walk outside to enjoy the beauty of the community, you’ll find it all here in Litchfield Park!
